Imagine this: you’re running into a work-related problem that you just can’t seem to figure out. You’ve thought about it a lot, talked to colleagues and even turned to online help (when even ChatGPT doesn’t know the answer…), but it seems like you keep spinning in the same circle. Recognizable? This is exactly where intervision (peer review) can be of value. It provides a structured way to work with your colleagues, support each other and gain new insights. Instead of looking for a ready-made solution, intervision is about joint discovery and reflection so that you can move forward with fresh ideas and new energy.

Intervision is a powerful method for knowledge development within a small group of professionals, managers or other employees experiencing a (common) problem or challenge. The group usually consists of 5 to 8 people who use their expertise to collectively analyze the problem and explore possible solutions or alternative approaches. By asking focused questions according to an intervision method, new insights and solutions can emerge.

The goal of intervision is not necessarily to find an immediate solution to the problem, but to encourage each other to discover answers by asking questions. This process helps to develop new thinking patterns and deeper understanding of the issues at hand. However, this method is only effective when applied in the right way
