Splintt, LiftWerx and KenzFigee launch collaboration to build comprehensive E-learning modules
February 22, 2024
As most of you know, LiftWerx and KenzFigee have had a close cooperation for some time now when it comes to Up-Tower Cranes for wind turbine maintenance. In the past, they have worked together on several occasions to introduce crane users to the capabilities and limits of these cranes in the best possible way. However, the way this was done could be more effective by using teaching materials developed for the specific product. Therefore Splintt was approached to investigate how this could be done.
In the last weeks of December, several colleagues from KenzFigee and Splintt traveled to Canada to discuss in detail with the user of the cranes, LiftWerx, how we could complete the E-learning training. During the process we were guided by Splintt and a roadmap was created in which each module and test was described in detail. This roadmap enables Splintt to work independently to find the required content which relieves the client and user as much as possible. During the week, we at LiftWerx also had the opportunity to see other training methods such as virtual reality, test tower and 3d printed materials.
In the coming months, the three parties will work together to create a training course that will be released step by step for customer use. Possibly this will set the basis for a further cooperation in which other trainings can be set up in the future for other types of cranes and for other customers of KenzFigee. We are looking forward to a great collaboration. Stronger through collaboration!
