The shareholders of LiftWerx have decided to team up with a new partner to accelerate the growth of LiftWerx North America. TowerBrook, an investment management firm headquartered in New York and London, that invests in services that are enabling the energy transition.

LiftWerx North America, headquartered in Cambridge, Ontario Canada, started in 2016 and is a fast-growing company specialized in turnkey services for major corrective repairs for onshore wind turbines, using crane-less technology.

As an active investment company, with a portfolio of innovative companies, MeeMaken aims to create an impact on accelerating the energy transition. MeeMaken will remain part of the future journey of this great company as a minority shareholder. Next to that, choosing TowerBrook as a partner will also have a positive impact on the current portfolio companies of MeeMaken.

KenzFigee, as crane manufacturer, will remain the supplier of the LiftWerx up-tower cranes. LiftWerx Europe, with a focus on the global offshore market and headquartered in The Hague, the Netherlands, is not included in the TowerBrook deal. LiftWerx Europe will be renamed and rebranded in the coming weeks. Make sure to follow us to stay updated.
