These exceptional times require extraordinary remote solutions, especially if you want to perform a FAT (Factory Acceptance Test).

In a direct response to current health guidelines and restrictions due to COVID-19, KenzFigee completed its first remote FAT to the satisfaction of Lloyd’s and our client, Volker Stevin on behalf of the British Ministry of Defense, on Thursday April 9.

The KenzFigee team was able to bridge the distance by setting up livestreams and online meetings, enabling our client to witness the testing of its first Ram Luffing crane at our fabrication yard in Zaandam, without being physically present.

The FAT was successfully completed thanks to our flexible client and a dedicated team of professionals led by Bjorn Pauletta and in close cooperation with the project manager of this project Arun Gatamaneni, whilst keeping a minimum safe distance of 1.5 meters.
