As part of her graduation thesis, intern Ilse Fassotte, Technical Business Administration Windesheim, together with Rogier den Heyer (Manager Spare Parts) and Andre Hoogeland (ICT MeeMaken) recently developed the ‘Qenz’ app.

By scanning a QR code on a crane or equipment part, the ‘Qenz’ app can identify the spare part and subsequently place a quotation or order in a simple manner.

The development of the app is the result of her graduation thesis: ‘How can KenzFigee improve the quality of its service to clients by professionalizing the process from identifying and requesting spare parts?’

After many interviews and research, the first step was to simplify the list of recommended spare parts and then to develop an application to identify and order the spare parts. Then, together with André Hoogeland, the beautiful and functional ‘Qenz’ app was developed for this purpose. Meanwhile, Henk Gils, Service Engineer, has successfully tested the ‘Qenz’ app on cranes in England.
